Join us in our Home Department to see the new "marimekko" bedding. The first pattern to ship to our store is the iconic "Unikko" pattern. Unikko was designed by Maija Isola in 1964. Unikko came about after the founder of Marimekko, Armi Ratia, announced in public that no floral fabrics are designed at Marimekko. Maija Isola did not accept rules and restrictions and designed in protest and created a complete collection of bold floral patterns. This iconic pattern can be seen on one of our many beds in the Home Department.
