Nina's sexy, glamorous shoes have been designed in New York since 1953. Brothers and co–founders Mike and Stanley Silverstein, Cuban emigrants, set up shop in a small loft on Prince Street, naming the company after Stanley’s first-born daughter, Nina. It all started with a fashion clog – a sexy, platform sandal with a wood stiletto–like heel that was a reinterpretation of the clogs their father had made in Cuba. By the end of the 1950s, Nina’s fashion clogs were on the feet of stylish women everywhere, including the Miss Universe contestants.
Nina has become one of the most widely–recognized footwear brands in the US, enjoying its place as the number one shoe resource for accessible luxury and everyday glamour. From weddings to prom, Nina has a shoe for all of your special occasions.
