Comments about Cuisinart 2-lb. Convection Breadmaker:
Purchased this about 11 months ago and probably about the 6th or 7th time using it there was an electrical issue with the product, the paddle would stop spinning or kneading thus ruining the batches. I could hear a relay clicking but the paddle would not spin. I looked online and it seems to be a common problem with this bread maker. I have several Cuisinart products that I have never had any issues with, some of the reports go back a few years, I wonder why Cuisinart has not beefed up the motor or the relay or whatever it is that is causing this because it seems that it is a known issue. I called Cuisinart and I have to ship it back to them and they said they would send me a new one since it is within the 3 year warranty but I still have to pay the shipping on the old and the new unit, and they are quite heavy so we'll see how expensive that is. Not sure I want this same model unless they have resolved the issue.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
