Comments about Frye Smith Engineer Boots:

I bought these boots about two weeks ago and have worn them every day since. Extremely comfortable and definitely high quality leather. I normally wear between a 9 and a 9 1/2 in other boots and I got an 8 1/2 in this boot. Even sizing down a half size it fits a little large.

Comments about Frye Smith Engineer Boots:

I returned the boots I purchased on line because they did not fit just right, but I then purchased the same boots in a different size in the Boston, Newbury St store. Great product, great look!

      nice but bit narrow

Comments about Frye Smith Engineer Boots:

nice looking, good quality leather, but they feel a bit narrow on my feet, i usually wear 9 medium, the only concern is the top strap, it does not feel strong or durable, well, time will tell.

      True quality!

Comments about Frye Smith Engineer Boots:

Ive had my boots 2 weeks now and couldn't be happier with them. They look and feel even better than in the photos. They broke in very quickly and are most comfortable. I live close to the Boston store and went in to try them on, not knowing about the sizing and I'm glad I did. These run 1/2 size larger than normal, in my experience. These boots are very well made and will only get better with age. They'll outlive me, with proper care, and I'll pass them on!

        Fit great and look cool

Comments about Frye Smith Engineer Boots:

Bought these about two months ago and like the zipper fit as there is less heel slip than regular boots. True to size and comfortable the heel is low so they are more comfortable to walk long distance in also. Clean up nice with saddle soap and if you want a light shine use very light brown soft meltonian polish to keep the antique (dark light) look. Clean them with a damp micro fiber cloth if they are just dirty and they look perfect.
