I was looking for a dark purple dress for my step-daughters wedding and found this dress! It was love at first sight! I loved this dress but since I'm pear-shaped I was worried about the skirt being too fitted, I ordered this dress in a 12 and a 14 and they were both way too big! Be aware that this dress seems to run large. I ended up ordering it in a size 8 and it fits like a dream! The tuxedo detailing at the waist acccentuates my waistline and the tiered ruffles lay flat and are beautiful! It is a gorgeous shade of dark purple that coordinates perfectly for my step-daughters wedding! Love it!
