unfortunately, I returned the dress due to the quality of the embelishment. The beading is cheap, craking and just aweful. I bought it in the ink color, took the beads off and replaced it with a beautiful pin

Bought this for my niece's wedding, Dec. 29, 2012, so have not yet worn it. I am 5'7" and I need to have it shortened. Can't wait to wear it.
I'm a size 20, and it except for the length it fits perfectly.

bought to wear to son's wedding. beautiful but no one that tall! had to shorten significantly. but well worth getting it hemmed professionally. gorgeous dress to wear and felt elegant!

This dress is just beautiful! Talk about figure flattering...wow. I bought this dress to wear to an award show. Since I need two this coming fall, I ordered it in Ink, loved it then ordered it in Raisin. The ink is bluish in pictures with flash and the Raisin is more purplish. Both colors are nice.

I am 5'10" if you are shorter, then you will have to have it altered. The sheer pannel in the front hangs longer than the hem (by design) so even at my height, I have to be vigilent not to trip.

If you are in doubt, don't be. This dress is an amazing find. The designer deserves a huge pat on the back for this one. Finally, someone got it right!

I bought this for my niece's wedding, and had so many compliments! The dress is very slenderizing for a larger woman. The styling is supberb. By the way, the color is much nicer in person...it is more of an aubergine and less brown than the picture shows. The one small issue I had was the length. I am 5'10" and didn't want to wear high heels so I opted for a 2" pair and had to shorten the dress a bit. I would recommend this to any one who has a belly bulge because the ruching hides it well. And, the styling gives you a bit of a fit in the waist so you have a nice shape to your body. Also, I bought this online, which I had never done before but couldn't find anything in the Chicagoland area that fit and looked good. I was very happy with the entire purchasing experience.
