Bought this dress for our very formal company Christmas party, so I didn't want to get a sleazy looking cocktail dress with cutouts and a micro mini hemline, if you get my drift. I wanted a hemline just above the knee, with some bling and a conservatively cute look that wasn't boring. This dress fit the bill.

Originally ordered the dress in a size 10 (which I really am) and I thought it fit like I needed to be melted down and poured into it. Sent it back for a size 11 and fits much better, but now it fits the shoulders a little loose, but should be manageable.

Unless you have a perfectly flat stomach, you will need to wear Spanx or some type of slimming garment to achieve the right look.

I own a few Adrianna Pappell dresses and love them all. Overall I find them figure flattering and well made. HOWEVER!
This dress is very poorly made. I purchased this on line to wear NYE. When I tried the dress on at home I was shocked to discover that there were several loose threads inside of the arms which held the sequins on. Unknowingly, my fingers dragged one of the threads through to the bottom of the sleeve and all of a sudden I had a pile of sequins laying at my feet! Since I didn't have another dress to wear for NYE, I immediately took it to my tailor for repair. The cost to repair the sleeve was 45 dollars.
I hope I make it through NYE without any more of the sequins unraveling!

I bought this dress for my work holiday party, and I LOVE it! I feel a little corny saying this, but it really does make me feel like a movie star. I've always wanted a gorgeous, sequin-covered dress that was elegant and not tacky, and this one is it! I love it so much I sort of want to wear it all the time. The arms are somewhat see-through, which I think adds a nice layer of dimension to the dress, but if you're very modest you may not like it. Also, I found the dress on sale at my local Dillards, so you should check in-store if possible. Note: I only checked that it "feels too big" because I bought the dress a couple sizes smaller than I normally wear in other brands and it fits perfectly. I checked "feels too long" because it's a bit longer than shown in the photo.
