I was excited to get these shoes, but when they arrived I wasn't so sure. When I look down at my feet, all I see is cork and it's not that attractive. That said, everyone else sees the pretty wedge design and I get tons of compliments on the style - since most heels on wedges are made of cork - not the top. Pretty cool. As far as comfort, they are indeed very comfy but you have to be comfortable in this tall of a wedge. The straps could be tighter to provide a little more security in footing (that's the only reason for 1 less star), but with something this high you could tip sideways no matter what if you're not careful. It's a cushioned sole, so you can stand and walk comfortably. I wear them with shorts and mini skirts on the weekends. What a way to show off your legs! I'm finding I'm buying more and more Antonio Melani shoes!
