This suit is to die for! The above reviewer is right: It's not flattering on the model because it's too big for her. In fact, the top is too big on me, but that's why God made tailors. This dress is SO beautiful and elegant. Combine it with the jacket (which I think is overpriced, considering the usual reasonableness of Melani clothes), and you have an elegant and dressy summer suit that easily goes from day to evening wear. Get it!

This dress runs a little big. I'm between two sizes right now and had to go down two sizes to get the great fit and look of this vintage inspired dress.(very good for the ego!) Will be perfect for the office and then stopping for a dinner date on my way home. The fabric is perfect for the structured styling because it holds it shape but isn't stiff and uncomfortable.

I tried this dress on and left it hanging. When I got home all I could think about was how amazing this dress felt and how amazing I felt with it on. Needless to say I went back the next day - it's mine!

This is a GREAT dress...it does not look super flattering on the model because it is too large on her, but this dress really shows off an hourglass figure or gives you the illusion of one if you don't quite have one. I normally wear a 0 or a 2 in Melani and I needed the 0 in this style. While the waist and upper body fit well in both, the 2 was a bit baggy in my hips and I found the smaller size more flattering. The dress is well-lined and well-shaped; the skirt has a pencil skirt effect and the box pleats kick out just right. The shawl collar is also flattering to the upper body. I think this dress could be very versatile, from a special brunch or casual lunch to the office, although women who have a larger bust may feel like they need a cami on top for a work environment. The color is called off-white but reminds me of a super-light khaki. It has a great throwback, slightly vintage feel and is very ladylike.
