I am a fan of the Antonio Melani line going back about five years. As an almost exclusive dress-wearer, I LOVE the line's dresses. And this one is no exception. I wanted a beautiful dress to reflect the timeless summer color combination of navy and white. This dress delivers. The first time I tried it on, it took my breath away. The picture doesn't do this dress justice because the navy looks so dark to be almost black. While it is a darker navy, it is not as dark as the picture suggests. My friend, another clotheshorse,knows my obsession with Melani and said of the line, "It's so couture." Thank you, designers, for thinking of us women who still enjoy the feminity of a classic yet stylish dress.

I bought this dress to wear to my nephew's high school morning graduation ceremony. Paired with a bright, lime green clutch, gold and lapis jewelry and a pair of navy patent leather 4" heeled pumps, I will not only be appropriately dressed, I will feel comfortable posing for our family photos.

I am normally a petite size, so the dress hits just below the knee on me.
