Bought this for the colors and European look to match breakfast area. Got all colors and patterned pieces to mix and match.

This chips entirely too easily. We have no children and do not use every day. Once I realized my first chips, I carefully load the washer. It makes no difference. Still chips.

Also, gets too hot in microwave. Too hot to hold.

I've had this for 5 years and still love the variety and ability to mix and match. Some pieces have been hard to find. Occasional chips, but not bad. We (including teenagers) use it every day, so some is to be expected. It does get pretty hot in the microwave - before the food does. I still love it and pick up extra pieces whenever it goes on sale!

If used during meal serving from table, great. If used in microwave, use pot holder to remove. Food will be cold but dish is so hot you can't hold it. Chips easily in dishwasher. If thinking of buying, I have setting for 12 plus canisters and serving dishes. Make offer. You pay shipping.
