I am a ballroom dancer and bought this dress to wear to a competition. It was perfect!!!. The fabric is so light on the skirt that it enhances every move you make. It has an a-line under lining, so your underwear do not show with turns, bit you get the full effect of that gorgeous assymetric skirt! My only complaint is that the sizing is way off! I usually wear a size 4 in womens and a 7 in juniors (I am 5'6" and 130 pounds), but I had to go with a 9/10 in order to zip the bust area. It runs unusually small up top. The size I ended up getting was a bit too loose but with a strapless bra and the help of the one shoulder strap, I made it work with no wardrobe malfunctions. It does have bra forms in the bodice, but it was too loose to give me much support. I also compared the fit of the 7/8. I couldn't even zip it past the bra line without discomfort. It almost seemed as though there should have been a size in between the ones I mentioned to fit just right. Besides the tricky problem with the bust area I highly recommend this dress. The color is a brillant true blood red and it is very well constructed. The flower detailing on the one shoulder and bust area adds just the right amount of bling to make this dress a real head turner. It is perfect if you are looking for the sophistocation of a fuul length gown but want the ease to move in a cocktail dress. It is so pretty that you only need basic silver shoes and small jewelry to go with it. I got multiple compliments and would buy it in another color if it were available.
