I purchased the Laguna tote, in the same brand from Dillards, because it was attractive, lightweight & for use with very casual, summer wear. I got the item home, took out the packaging & noticed an unusual smell coming from the bag. I thought this might be adhesive so I aired it out. However, after 24 hrs, the bag maintained the same smell. I read the brand pamphlet that came with the bag & learned the CLC Beach handbags are made out of neoprene or wet-suit fabric; hence, the smell. The brand website further explains this & there are similar consumer comments re: the odor. This is a wonderful bag, and the smell may not impact you, but it did me. I returned the item & Dillards graciously took it back.

I love the compartments of this purse. I carry so much stuff that it has been hard to downsize to a crossbody. But this bag accommodates all my junk. It has just enough give without destroying the lines of the bag with a lot of items in it. I love the Brahmin bags but they are so stiff and the leather does not give. I could never get my stuff to work in one of those. Try this one. You will love it.
