I tried the display while waiting to get another pair of shoes and what a find. I have slender calves and narrow heels and these are the best fitting boots, not to mention the comfort level, Born padding. They do run 1 to 1/2 too big. I tried the 6 and it fit perfectly without socks (i'm a true 7). Got 6 1/2 to allow for socks.
Try these boots, you won't regret it.

I tried this boot on in-store in they grey and they fit great. Unfortunately they did not have any stock of the black. Waited for almost 3 weeks to get boots from online order. When revcd the calf was too tight, had to return. This boot would be better for someone with thinner calves or if you wanted to wear with tights or leggings.

Love these grey boots. I generally wear an 8.5, but opted for an 8. My only problem: I have skinny (whimpy) calves, measuring under 13 inches, so I'm going to take them to have the buckles shortened for a tighter fit. (Punching an extra hole still wouldn't make them small enough.) Honestly, though, I think the buckles make them a viable option for people with thin or wide calves. (You will have to cinch them if your calves are thin, something you'll face with most boots.)

I fell in love with these grey boots the first time I walked by them in September. Finally decided to buy them and they were sold out everywhere. So happy to find them online at Dilliards for a great price too. Born boots always run 1/2 a size too big. I own several Born boots in size 71/2 where I normally wear a size 8 in everything else. I highly recommend these boots. They work for women of any age. I am 42 and my daughters are 13. WE all love them.

Very disappointed with the color. It looked faded on the upper 85%. It looked like it has gotten wet and dried out. I ordered the grey one. I was so excited to receive it but returned it yesterday. Now I need to shop for another boot :(

What a great boot! They are so comfortable from the first moment you put them on: no need to 'break them in'. They run big though, I had to go a whole size down for the perfect fit. I wear them with my dresses & with my jeans. I get tons of compliments every time I wear them. I really like the lining inside the boot also, it is soft.
