Fantastic value for the money! I am not one to spend money on shoes, these were on sale and I still hesitated to buy. My current pair are over 5 years old they have held up very well and maintained comfort and support. They need to be replaced as they are my go to shoes and see a lot of pavement and even a number of nature trails. Unless quality of construction has changed I'll be "Born again"

I've had wonderful experiences with Born shoes in the past. I bought this pair, fully expecting the same quality. Right after I got home, I noticed the interior leather on the heel wasn't completely sewn to the adjacent piece. I plan on exchanging them for another pair.
Despite the defect, they are very comfortable, and feel like they have the ability to breathe better than even my older pairs of Borns. The shoes are lightweight, but I fear it's at the cost of the durability of the leather. Only time will tell, but so far they are very stylish, and more comfortable than I expected.
