Like other reviewers I have also been wearing the Cabernet bodyshaper for about 10 years. I am 42, and the price has gone up,up,and up for the past several years. It is harder to fastern than the earlier version. The current fabric has too much stretch, and not as much control as the previous model. As a professional woman I need a product like this to shave off bumps/lumps, but I might have to buy elsewhere if quality doesn't improve, and the price at least stabilize.

Original shaper purchased about 8 years' ago was far superior in bra design. Shaper provides great support following back surgery.

The shapewear sent was ok but the hook and eye was impossible to close. It seemed to be in the reverse position. I thought the past one was much better. I really suggest that you start to listen to the consumer's "Feed Back" as to what they would like. As the saying goes "If it is not broken don't fix it!"Thank you!

i've worn this product daily for over 10 years. luckily over the years i have accumulated quite a collection. every year i buy 2 to add to that collection. you can imagine my surprise to see that the price tag has nearly quadrupled since last year. i honestly thought i was seeing this in error! what a shame. at this price i may as well buy from the newer brand that is now a household name. hopefully the people at cabernet are hiring a new marketing and pr team with all the extra $$!!

I, too, have been a Cabernet body suit fan for more than 10 years. I really prefer The Original and would love it if Dillard's would go back to it. I wear this bodysuit EVERY DAY and have for years. It smooths, provides support and truly makes my clothes fit and look better on me. I find the new version is more difficult to fasten. I gave it 4 stars, but would give the original 5 stars if you brought it back! I have tried many other brands of shapewear, including Spanx, but always return to Cabernet. I'm a plus size (16-18) and find that this body suit is actually designed to fit plus sized women, unlike some of the other brands.

I have been wearing Cabernet shapewear for years, and the previous model was better for control. This one seems to have "sold out" to appear more like a more popular brand--but they shouldn't have. Good control, straps are more comfortable, but bra just isn't as flattering as it used to be, and it's harder to fasten at the crotch area.

I wear this bodysuit everyday. It holds my breasts up where they once were naturally and makes my tummy appear flatter. I am not slim by any means,but this garment really helps make a difference. Has great back support, which is needed since my surgery. The new model just recently out has fuller cups and cushioned straps but the straps do not hold you up as well as the old version and for some reason, I can't explain, it is harder to close the hooks in the crotch area. They have also discontinued the smaller sizes so when I get down to my goal weight I don't know what I will do because I have worn this garment for at least nine or ten years, even during my slim days. It just keeps everything smooth. No stops from the bra line to the panty line. It is just great. Hope they will bring back the small sizes and old style.
