I love the finish and the look. The fit was narrow, which was surprising since I've worn Clarks shoes for many years. I thought about returning them, but gave them a try by wearing thick socks and walking on carpet. As I walked, the shoes began to loosen up, so I continued to wear them for several hours. At the end of the time, they were to the point of feeling quite comfortable! I'm so happy I tried that experiment, as I think the boots do look very cool.

I was looking for some shoes that that have comfort but don't looks as casual as tennis shoes. Being retired, I get tired of flip-flops and tennis shoes. My other shoes I wear with dresses. So these are great with jeans and other pants.
