It glides out of the tube smooth and glides right on the eyelid smooth. You do not have to use another eyeshadow if you do not want to. Very nice basic color shades.

I got this eyeshadow because I have Sjrogens and A very rare eye disease and I needed something that would stay in place and not get in my eyes. I tried seventh heather and was very pleased. I put it on before work and it looked the same way after 8 hours of work. As for my eyes, it stays in place and did not get into my eyes. I applied a little to my hand and then used a brush to apply it. I wash the brush after use.
