These are really nice, comfortable, flattering bermuda shorts. Luckily, I tried them on in the store so I could learn that they run VERY large. I wear 8/29 in every single pair of pants I own, from [@] to Levi's to Lucky Brand to Henry & Belle to French Connection to Buffalo David Britton--to give you some references, and the 8s in these were very large; even the 6 leaves quite a bit of room. Otherwise, they are a really well made, flattering pair of shorts. The couple inch band on the bottom dresses these up a little more than other jean shorts, so they could probably be dressed up a little, especially in the black. You can't beat the quality for the price on these, just be sure to size up!
