This is our everyday dish set. We have been using them for three years. Several bowls now have what I can only descibe as "pock marks" in the surface. It is a round chip in the bottom of the bowls, and water goes under and creates a discoloration to the bowl. We are not very hard on the dishes, so I am not sure what these are from, since I have not experienced that with any other dish set I have used.

I have also noticed that one plate now has scratches all over it, and they are discolored. They are in a circular pattern...not what you would get from a knife or fork. Again, I am not sure what this is from and I have not seen it on any other set I have used.

I love this set, and use them even with the defects, but I am sad they are not holding up better. I wanted these to last for years.

As a small side note, the footed bowls would be much better for daily use...the salad bowls are too shallow for cereal/soup without spills.

When I married, this was the everyday dinnerware we selected. After living independently as a professional adult for 8 years, I decided to upgrade from my [@] dishes. Much to my disappointment, the Daniel Cremieux Marie Antoinette line did not hold up to my [@] dishes. My husband and I are both working professionals who take care of things are aren't rough on our home items. If the dishes belonged to a room full of fraternity or sorority members, I could understand these dishes taking some wear. Many of my dishes have chips here and there. Even more disappointing, many of the plates have multiple spider web looking cracks under the glaze. It looks awful. I hate that I gave my [@] dishes away. I would love to have them back.

Comments about Cremieux Marie Antoinette Dinnerware:

We registered for almost the entire set:
Bowls
Salad Plates
Dinner Plates
Coffee Cups
Coffee, Sugar, Flour canisters
1 Platter & 2 large bowls
ALL have some sort of stain, crack, or chip. I am so disappointed! I have received so many compliments on the look of them and I was so excited to start using them. In the first couple of months they began cracking and have progressively gotten worse. I have heard that Dillard's is good about returns/exchanges in cases like this, so I'm hoping I can get something else that will last a lifetime. After all, that's what you envision when you register for your wedding gifts.

It looks like all of the other reviews are saying the exact same things, so hopefully the company will take note and make a better quality product.

I will support what everyone else is saying. This set should hold up a lot better than they have for the amount paid. A lot of the coffee mugs' handles cracked and then fell off. The majority, if not all, of the pieces have spider web looking cracks in the finish and continue to get worse. If you are looking at this set, keep shopping.

Comments about Cremieux Marie Antoinette Dinnerware:

I regret purchasing these dishes. I have a 12 place setting of the entire dinner set as well as most, if not all, of the entertaining pieces. I registered for them for my wedding. They are suppose to be microwave and dishwasher safe but anytime I put them in the microwave they would get tiny hairline fractures in the glaze on the surface of the plates. I don't typically microwave with them but the few times I have that has happened. I had to exchange a few dinner plates and serving pieces that had holes in the glaze so water would leak to the inside of the plate and would leave water marks for some time until they fully dried (that happened anytime they were handwashed or washed in the dishwasher). In the last 2 years the dishes have just progressively gotten worse and have started to fall apart. Bottoms of the bowls have started to flack apart and and the glaze has not held up at all. I'm very disappointed in these dishes considering the price that we paid for them!!!

I registered for these dishes when I got engaged. My husband and I received 12 place settings plus many of the accessories when we got married. We have been married about 15 months now and are very disappointed with the quality of this dishware. There are terrible looking cracks in the finish of about half of our dishes, and they chip very easily. My husband and I are very careful and meticulous individuals who take pride in taking good care of what we have. I am so sad that the quality is bad because the dishes are so stinkin' cute!

This china has cracked (or is in the process of cracking) after 1 or 2 uses only and NO dishwasher use. It is my wedding pattern and I have been washing it by hand and not using it daily - only for 1 special occasion. I am trying to find out how to go directly back to Daniel Cremioux on this - as my set is totally useless at this point.

I received these dishes as a wedding gift over a year ago, and I love them SO much! I have the matching canisters and serving pieces. We use them everyday and always wash the dishes in the dishwasher. We haven't had a problem with chips or cracks. I did break a salad plate once, but that was my own fault. It was really nice being able to go to Dillards and buy another one w/o having to buy a set.

These are our everyday dishes and initially I LOVED them! They are so classic and pretty and go with so many decors.
My problem came when I started noticing hairline cracks in the glaze. I had 2 dishes that I exchanged upon purchase because water was seeping under the glaze and leaving water spots inside. Now ALL of my dishes are like this. There are tiny cracks all over about 1/2 my dishes.
I have 12 place settings and almost all the accessories. I'm VERY disappointed in their quality. We are very careful with our dishes and do not microwave with them and still have problems!
Dillard's will not take them back, so I'm going to the company now.

I had been using dishes from [@] for years and they worked fine but I wanted something prettier. So my husband bought them for me for Mother's Day last year. I am SO disappointed with these dishes! I would say that almost every single dish has really bad cracks in the finish or is chipped!! They say microwave safe but it is definitely not a good idea. When I have heated food up in the microwave on these plates the plates get extremely hot and the food stays cold. I have burned my fingers trying to pull a plate out after only 1 minute and still had to cook the food longer! Seriously one of the worst purchases I have made. While they are very beautiful dishes they are of very poor quality.
