The handbag is of very nice quality leather and has the saturation of color that I like. Like most Dooney bags, the leather is a bit stiff but I expected this. What I did not expect was how short the straps were, even with the adjustable straps. I adjusted to the longest length and it is still not comfortable to carry. I purchased this for myself, but plan on giving it as a gift to a friend who has a smaller frame and arms.

I bought this Dooney & Bourke in Navy. It is a nice heavy leather bag. Top quality. I adjusted the straps to give a little more shoulder room. This is my first D & B. Very happy.

I thought the handbag seemed a little heavy at first, but, after a few hours of using it, I LOVE IT! This is my first Dooney & Bourke. I "visited" it in store a few times before ordering online. I ordered the navy and taupe, but, am returning the taupe, since the color is not all that versatile for me. The Navy is fantastic!
