This bag was a gift from my Mom, but I did pick it out myself. I love the size of it, it's not bulky and has plenty of space for organization. My iPhone fits perfectly and snugly in the outside slit pocket and the interior has so much space that if it's not big enough for you, you are carrying too much stuff! It will hold my compact, wallet, glasses, a moleskin notebook,the largest Kindle they make and my .38. The outside access pocket is perfect to hold your go-to items, wallet, keys, debit cards. The quality is fantastic, beautiful leather, stitching, hardware. The long strap is wonderful to keep your hands free but I normally just carry with the handles as they are plenty large enough to put on your arm. I've gotten so many compliments on the color, shape and the embossed ostrich design. Love my Dooney and Bourke.

I don't personaly own this bag, but I've seen it at the store and I constantly watch it online. I wish that D+B would make the bag a little bigger, and add more pockets on the outside. I've come to love bags with pockets to organize everything and to keep the inside of the bag from being so cluttered. And if I'm going to pay a lot for a bag, I especially want more organization. But the bag is really beautiful, the quality seems to be top notch, and if there are enough pockets inside and out, I don't really need to have an inside compartment. And I prefer zip tops--better security from your bag falling, or from thieves. I'll keep watching--hopefully I'll see it more to my size preference in the future.

I read the reviews prior to making this purchase and would like to sincerely thank the lady from Reno, NV who made the excellent suggestion of doubling-up the shoulder strap. It was way too long, otherwise. The only other gripe I'd have is that the zipper is not ideal (I also prefer magnets)and I wish it had a divider in the center. However, the exterior pocket (great for cell) and magnet pouch compensate. It is deceivingly roomier than I expected. I purchased the tangerine, and the color is vibrant. I've only had it a few days and already received loads of compliments. Very glad I invested in this one.

I'm not generally a fan of Dooney bags - most of their large bags are lacking the center zip divider and exterior pockets I need to keep my life organized. I bought this as a smaller bag for going to dinner or out at night. I like the outside pocket which I use for my phone (no scratched touch screen). The main compartment zipper isn't too much of a pain to use, but generally requires two hands (I prefer magnetized closures). The main compartment has one small zipped pocket and a couple of slip pockets. I have to say the beautiful leather and two tone colors are what convinced me to buy this bag. That and the longer strap that actually allows me to carry it hands free, versus being forced to hold shorter straps that continually slip off the shoulder. I really like the bag and have no regrets.
