My husband bought this deep fryer for me a few years ago and we LOVE it!! The drain system has worked great for us. (NOTE: If you do not loosen the knob on the oil storage box, oil will end up all over the counter.) It's easy to use, clean and maintain. I have recommended it to many family and friends.

I bought this particular model because of the drain system. I figured it would be much easier to clean than the one I had previously. Well the drain system worked the first time I tried it. Every since, it just won't drain, so now it's just the ordinary fryer. Fries great and all the parts are dishwasher safe. You just have to use an external system to drain the grease. I use peanut oil so that I can use it longer, but I like the grease to be clean with little residue so the drainage problem isn't because of a residue buildup. When I get the grease out of it, water runs right through the drain system. Can't figure it out.
