My lashes seem to be thinning as I age. This helps to define them and make them look thicker & shows true length w/o false lashes. Also seems to condition them.

I have thin lashes, and I tried lots of volumizing masceras. I've found that using a base does better to add volume and help my mascera look great all day long.
