i got these in the bronze and they work with just about everything--casual dresses, skirts, jeans, trousers. they do run a bit big--i got the 7 1/2 and could have gotten away with a 7 for sure. if you have a skinny foot, definitely go a half size down. they are super comfortable--i've already worn them a ton. you must be OK with showing some toe cleavage.
