The picture looks like it's got a shiny, textured material, but it was a flat brown and a little lighter than pictured. Overall style, comfortable, easy to use, and looks great with most everything, but it would be nice if the center height was a little higher as day planners don't fit well and it hangs open really wide if not zipped shut.

I bought this bag several months ago and couldn't be happier. It is easy to open with 2 zippers on top and side zip cell phone pocket is perfect! The leather is soft and very light weight! I highly recommend this bag.
