I bought this for my daughter to wear over her Christmas dress. She wanted a dress that spaghetti straps but I felt it needed a little something extra. This shrug was perfect! It looked adorable with her black and deep purple dress. I got her the size medium as she is a size 5 and it fit her to a T! It looked so much better than your typical sweater shrug...much prettier and sophisticated. My daughter weights 125 lbs and is 5' 5"...don't hesitate you will not be disappointed!
