This is a great dress for an evening out. I bought the dress in red and in xs. If you are a size 0-00, I do suggest buying the xs, HOWEVER, you will need some sort of hidden lycra to smooth out down below (even if you wax...sorry J/S). Unless you don't have a tush, then the front part of skirt shouldn't fit so snug. You could go up a size, then the top part of dress would be too loose. Last year I bought a size 2 in black (fit perfect w/no alterations...this year I couldn't fit a size 2). If you know your size when it comes to JS dresses then you don't have to worry. The top part is easy flowing, hides imperfection while the bottom shows off a tight tush. Looks great with strappy heels, dazzled ankle booties, (not pumps). All in all, this dress is a must buy! But try it on so you can see what imperfections may show through so you know what size to buy for your body type. Not all 0's are the same.

Very Forgiving

I needed a dress that was forgiving around the mid section. I'm not a big girl but I'm a thick girl. Thick legs and almost apple shaped (5'4" 150 lbs) so I really wanted to feel sexy and feel comfortable when I sat and moved. This dress did it for me. I never received so many compliments and felt so beautiful. I never had to worry about a pudgy roll when I sat or feeling like back fat was showing when I was dancing. Beautiful and I think the skirt was a little loose but I wasn't looking for clingy anyway.

Great top, lazy skirt

The top of this dress is beautiful. Unlike so many other dresses around, it isn't tight around the waist, so those extra 10 pounds just disappear in the drapery. I have never felt so pretty as I do in this dress. HOWEVER, it seems as though they spent so long crafting the top of this dress that they just kind of slapped a skirt on it. The skirt is a little short, and somewhat sheer. And since it's short, it's hard to find a slip that won't peek out the bottom. It turns it from a gorgeous, mature dress into something more revealing. I'm still figuring out what to do with my bottom half. (e.g. nude nylons and knee-length boots are HOT but not always appropriate.)
