Comments about Jkara Beaded Gown:
I had been searching for the perfect dress for my son's wedding this summer. I had purchased dresses online and sent them all back. As I checked Dillard's store periodically to see if someting new had come in, I ran across this dress that had been returned by a mother of the bride who bought three dresses and let her daughter pick out the one she liked best. I really liked it! The color was more of a taupe than the picture, but still very becoming. The only change I made in it was to have it shortened to a tea length because everyone else at the wedding will be wearing shorter dresses. The cut of the sleeves helps cover not-so-pretty upper arms. I've not discovered anything I don't like about it.

Comments about Jkara Beaded Gown:
I searched for months and spent hundreds of dollars ordering stupid "custom made" gowns from Asian sources that never fit. I needed an elegant, flattering, cool and comfortable dress for my daughter's wedding and fell in love with this dress when I saw it online. [...] It was sooooo worth the effort! It's absolutely perfect as a MOB gown, beautifully beaded, flowy, elegant...just what I wanted. The draped fabric and beading across the bodice is very flattering to my apple shape (was worried about this) and the slightly dropped waistline on the top hides a multitude of sins! The fluttery sleeves are just enought to hide any flabby arms but not make you hot. The colour is more of a "latte" than champagne, but a nice, classy colour. The lining is satin and the top just sort of sits loosely over the top and it's all a bit stretchy too, so incredibly comfy, which is important when you are wearing it all day. The size guide was perfectly accurate, so the fit was spot on, though if you like a little more fitted, I would go a size down. I like my fit loose, and by following the size guide, that's exactly what I got. I'm blissfully happy with my dress and so relieved at having found the perfect thing to wear. I've taken one star off because the hem of the sheer outer fabric on both the front and back has a patch that has been folded up and sewn into an obvious seam...it appears the hem was uneven and they just pulled it up, folded it over and sewed it in place, leaving an unsightly strip on the bottom. It looks like a separate strip has been added to the bottom. Very disappointing, but too late for me to send back and go through all the drama of buying another. I'm just hoping the folds of fabric will hide this lazy hemming effort sufficiently. But overall a lovely dress that I would highly recommend, especially for more "traditionally built" ladies!
