I wear a size 8 or 10 and am 5'5". In Dillards my best fits were size 10. So that's what I ordered. This size 10 was a little big all around ( I was able to pull it over what I was wearing and still had room. It"s too long for me as I do not want to wear heels. Hung 2 to 3 inches past floor. Re-ordered size 8. Perfect length(hit the floor)and top fit but was not comfortable under arms. Seem shorter in bodice than I expected for 1 size down. Was surprised to find the quality of the beading on size 8 was not as good as size 10. Color was off a little and the jacket seemed much too tight for 1 size down...more like size 6. Verdict still out on whether to tailor. It is very pretty.
