I purchased this after breaking several whisks in my utensil drawer. I was pleased at how well it worked to whisk batter and didn't find it flimsy at all.

Just love how it transforms from a flat whisk to a round whisk and that it is silicone coated.
The one drawback is that the bottom piece on the end falls off easily. I actually had to have them replace one that shipped (I ordered three- one for me and two for gifts) because it was missing the end piece.
