Wore this dress to my son's bar mitzvah. I am not one to write reviews, but this dress was just perfect. I must have had 50 compliments, even from the waiters. Very figure flattering for "plus" size women, and I even got the smaller size! Color is more aubergine than the brown it looks. Plus the dress was so comfortable. I will wear often.

I ordered this dress in a plus size for an upcoming wedding. I am heavy in the stomach area, so all the trendy knit dresses just look terrible. This dress looked fantastic- but the shoulders were HUGE (and I have big shoulders). It was also extremely low cut. I love showing a hint of cleavage- but this couldn't be worn as is without some serious alterations. I may try to order in a smaller size and see if that helps.

The dress looks beautiful out of the box but I was surprised to find out it is not lined! On me, it showed every panty and bra line and did not sit smoothly on my body. I do have to say the jeweled brooch is very eye catching and fun, kind of retro. Too bad - I had to return it.

Gorgeous, figure-flattering dress for special occasions. Taffeta can be "noisy," so take that into consideration if you don't like stiff fabrics. However, this dress has a touch of stretch/spandex in the taffeta, so it fits nicely on the body. I could have gone down one size, but it worked. Portrait collar flatters your neck and bustline and looks great with dangling earrings. Great sleeve length and dress hits just below the knee -- all flattering if you don't like certain parts of your body!

This dress is VERY flattering. It gives you a beautful hour glass look. The rusching is very flattering. I ordered a 14W, and did keep it. I needed to have alterations. Sleeves, neckline, and waist all needed to be taken in.
