These jeans are over dyed; very dark blue. I've owned a pair of Nolita wash before, and when the blue wore off onto everything, I cursed Ralph Lauren, and swore I'd soak them in vinegar or salt water or whatever you do to "set" dye if I ever bought another pair. Fast forward, and I managed to lose a bunch of weight. I wanted quality jeans I knew would look good all the time. Everywhere I looked at every price point, the jeans were crazy blinged out or distressed. I have no desire to dress like my teenager!! I remembered Lauren jeans and ordered these. I love the fit, but the dye... I've tried everything I could find online, and nothing has worked. So, I have blue dye on my leather car seats, blue dye on my unders if I sweat, and worst of all, blue dye on my fingernails if I rub or scratch my leg! Totally ruined a shellac manicure!
