The unwashed version of the 501® Original, Levi’s shrink-to-fit jean is made for you to wash, wear and break in on your own. Sitting below the waist, the original fit is straight through the seat, thigh and leg.

If you plan to wash, increase size by 1" if your waist is 27" - 36", 2" if 38" - 48", and 3" if 50" and up. Increase size by 3" if your inseam is 27" - 34", and 4" if 36" and up. Using alternate methods to washing in water will allow you to maintain the size and develop a unique, broken-in finish.
