These are the perfect straight leg black jeans that I have been looking for! They conform to my body in a nice way, but not too much. I have tried many other "skinny" jeans that totally clung to my body; these are not like that. They are ideal for either casual wear with flats or sandals, or dressing up with a nice top and heels. They are a midweight denim: not too heavy and not too light. They have some stretchiness to them, but they hold their shape. I am 5'5" and had to have about 2" cut off of them and hemmed after I washed/dried them. Like some of the other reviewers, I have some extra pounds. But these jeans still look really great on me. Finally! To top it off, there are British flags with Beatles song lyrics printed inside: "Whisper words of wisdom, let it be." Now I am going to try other colors/versions of Liverpool Jeans.

I have never worn a pair of jeans that are this comfortable. I am over weight and find jeans that fit but may be tight in the waist but these"run" with my body shape. Wore them for the first time today at work and got unsolicited complements on my look!! I am here to buy another pair.

These jeans fit great! I got them in red and my teenage daughter told me I was "rocking them". That's pretty nice since I'm short and overweight. Ha! They made me feel great!
