I am an elementary school teacher who is on her feet a lot. I thought that the elastic construction and the low heel of the shoe would work out for me. I wore these shoes to work this week and was in agony most of the day. I hope that there is real leather underneath the band that goes across the toes, otherwise these shoes will continue to be unwearable. In addition, I have slim legs and ankles and the ankle strap was also tight and uncomfortable. Even on sale these shoes have not proven to be a good buy.
