I bought this dress for my niece's evening recital. I am 5'4" and 130lbs with a runner's build. This dress is beautiful. I bought a small and it fit just as a "flowy" maxi dress should. I did find the length to be quite longer than what I had anticipated and ended up wearing tall wedges and still had to carry the dress when I walked but it was not awkward in the least.
