These are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have a slightly wide foot and these fit just right. Instead of my toes being smashed inside the shoe they actually sort of spread out, which makes for a feel of more stability on the trail. There's a nice arch. I think the best thing about them for me is, because they are light, you can actually feel what you're stepping on as you hike, such as rocks which can cause you to slip or twist an ankle. I can't say enough good things about this shoe. AND I got it on sale!! Total surprise at checkout!
