I purchased these for my daughter in the pink, and she is a very active 6 year old and she LOVES these shoes! She still has a hard time tying her shoes, so this was a great compromise. The laces look real but seem to be non-functioning and it has the velcro to secure the shoe onto the foot, which makes it really easy for her to do herself. They are light weight, darling color, and according to my daughter, very comfortable. She has worn them everyday since receiving them. The sales clerk told me that Nike tends to run a bit small, so even though she normally wears a 1 Youth, I got her the size 1.5 and it's a perfect fit with room to grow! You can't go wrong with this shoe!
