This bedding is wonderful. It isn't at all drab and old lady-ish like the photo. Having ranching roots, I have mixed up this bedding with some ranch related family heirlooms. It's Texas chic, and I love it. It looks great.

While I agree that the pillow shams are oversized, I was able to stuff 2 standard pillows in one sham that came in the queen set and it looks plump and full on the bed, so I am happy. I was actually surprised that the queen bed skirt fit my antique bed as well as it does and the check is a pleasing contrast. Overall, very happy with the quality of this set for a guest room.

I have a massive bedroom set with carved posters. I have added cheetah to my room and it comes off with a touch of English charm and the drama of Africa. Its just what I have been looking for! My room is a quiet and peaceful retreat now. Love, love love it! Only drawback is the pillow shams are so large that even a 20x36 pillow gets lost in them and they look messy. I'm a sewer so I'm going to make pillow inserts to accommodate the shams.
