This stoneware features contemporary shapes in a unique, textured graphite. The surface of the plates and the inside of the hollowware pieces are a high-gloss, subtle ivory. Oven, dishwasher and microwave safe. The 4-piece place settings include dinner plate, salad plate, cereal bowl and mug. The 16-piece square set includes four dinner plates, four square salad plates, four rice bowls and four mugs and the inside of each piece is a high-gloss, subtle ivory. The 5-piece pasta set includes a 12" serving bowl and four 8.5" individual pasta bowls. The 3-piece bowl set includes one 6.25" bowl, one 8" bowl and one 10" bowl. Plume accent salad plate is available exclusively at Dillard's.

      I purchased pieces of this dinnerware for a friend of mine. He hates to shop and needed "grown-up" dinnerware. I found these and I immediately thought of him, so I purchased them. He loves them and they match his kitchen perfectly. They are heavy and durable. The price was reasonable for the quality.

        I use these plates every day and clean them in the dishwasher regularly. I've owned them for 7yrs now and they still look great. We have only lost 1 dinner plate to breaking (only because my 5yr old dropped it). The dinner plates are starting to show some markings, but nothing that is beyond normal 'wear & tear'.

        Each plate is a good size and I have never been frustrated with the size of the bowls, dinner plates, coffee cups, or salad plates. The bowls have a good depth/width and are not hard to eat salad/soup/cereal out of. The coffee cups are comfortable to hold. Each piece feels sturdy and I've knocked them a few times thinking they'd chip/break and haven't. They're a good product.

        I would purchase these again and would recommend them to a friend.

          When I got married in 2003, we didn't need more fine china. What we needed was plates etc. for daily use. We love the clean simplicity of this pattern. The white interior sets off the food nicely. We also have most of the serving pieces as well.

          I would warn to NOT put square pieces in the dishwasher. They chip. The round pieces do fine in the dishwasher.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
