Protects arms from oven elements and steam. Easy to clean; pop liner out and put both liner and glove in washing machine with kitchen laundry (towels, aprons, etc.). Use two; interchangeable left/right hand; keeps both hands safe. Cotton liners eliminate the "sweat" in a silicon mitt; also help keep hands from "burning" if have to hold hot pans longer than just moving from oven to counter.
