The only con I have is that the zipper seems to come undone, but with the velcro closure that isn't really a big issue. Kids can put them on by themselves. We have owned 5 different pairs- when we grow out of one we buy another. My son plays on his knees alot and the toes of other shoes are demolished- this shoe tolarates rough little boy play and still looks WONDERFUL! I've thrown them in the washing machine when they needed cleaning and we just keep on trucking. This is the first time that I have bought a size ahead, so actually I have bought 6 pairs. I highly recommend these shoes if you have a rough and tough little boy but yet you want him to look stylish!
