Item took a while to arrive. It did not show as being "backordered" when I made the online purhase. I suggest that you please indicate if an item is on backorder; that way the customer can have the option to go with an other style. Other retailers do let the online purchaser know if the item is on backorder before the purchase is finalized. I was notified a day later via email that my purchase was on backorder. I still like my purchase because I like Rockport Men's Shoes and Dillards carries the best quality in Men's Dress Shoes. This is my fourth purchase with Rockport shoes from Dillards. I will buy again.
