I had been waiting for this comforter set to go on sale for months, I finally bought it and so far it has been great! I have 3 cats so I needed something 100% cotton, they have not yet picked or pulled it. I would recommend dry cleaning instead of washing though. It looks very nice on our bed. Would recommend this to anyone.

I saw the negative reviews and agreed not to spend this kind of money with so many issues, however my daugther loves this design, I have been waiting for 3 years for it to go on clearance, at clearance prices, i was willing to take the risk....The bedding is gorgeous, i also bought 4 extra sets drapery to put on her bed polls as she has a canopy daybed... It looks so custom and gorgeous.. Her walls are pink which really offset the black and white bedding... I bought an under blanket for her to cover up in at night so that the comforter can be pulled back as its meant more for decoration and not for sleeping in, Hopefully this will help perserve the life of the comforter. if i can find another comforter on clearance prices i will buy it as a back up.

I have been waiting for over 2 years for this comforter set. I was able to get it at a great price on "Black Friday". As with all Rose Tree comforter sets, it looks great on mattresses that are thick! It was worth the wait. Simply beautiful!!!!!

I've had this set for 5 years and it has held up very well with daily use except I store the comforter during the hottest part of the summer. Everything looks like-new except the standard shams, comforter and bed skirt (dog hair magnet!), even the pieces that look used still look very well, just not brand new. I've had the comforter dry cleaned and had zero issues with fade or bleed. The fabric throughout the set is thick and high quality, the trimwork is very detailed and luxurious. I have the entire set, including window panels and valances, and have not had any issues with varying lengths. One pillow sham became discolored due to sweat, I think, and I decided to test wash it in the washing machine with 5 color catching sheets and Oxi-clean after the dry cleaners said they woulnd't be able to remove the staining due to the dry cleaning process' limitations with the fabric type. The yellowing went away in the wash, but there was a little fade and some bleed on the damask side of the sham. However, the houndstooth side of the sham came out looking 100% brand new and perfect. This was an excellent purchase and I feel that I've got my money's worth.

I bought 3 different pairs of these drapes trying to get a pair that matched all the way across. None of them did and I even tried to see if panels from different pairs would go together but nothing matched. One side panel would be at least 1 to 2 inches shorter than the other one. Very disappointed in the quality and price for such shoddy workmanship. I love the comforter but am having to have drapes made because these are so inferior.

As I took a Euro sham out of its plastic bag I noticed a black ring on a white stripe that was a button imprint from where the sham had been folded. Red flag, yet I loved the design. I was adding a different trim to just about all of the pieces, so I had cut up and sewn most of the set when I noticed that my hands were getting stained from the black dye. Also, when I "cleaned" the black circle on the Euro sham with just cold water and a white wash cloth both colors bled into each other and the faric pilled. After phoning the Assistant Store Manager at Dillard's and explaining all that had transpired, she took the comforter set back. Needles to say, I am very pleased with my local Dillard's. Wouldn't recommend the product but would recommend the store.

I LOVED this comforter set. The design and colors are beautiful and just what I was looking for, BUT you have to be able to clean/wash bedding. The colors fade terribly and looks dingy. My daugher simply had a small spot that we cleaned gently with water and although the spot disappeared, the fabric now looks horrible. I have never experienced anything like it.

I didn't mind paying [$] for this as it was what my daughter wanted for her room. Unfortunately it quickly faded and the colors bled BEFORE washing. Washing only made it worse! I followed the care instructions and now the white looks dingy, gray. I spoke to Dillards about it and they said it had been more than 30 days and to contact the vendor. I have tried the vendor and have received zero response. Save your money!

I purchased this for my teenage daughters room and she does lay on the bed quite a bit, however, even before the first wash of the comforter the colors were fading. After washing, the black looks faded - unevenly and the white looks dingy. I am so disappointed as we loved the set.
