These are not the same quality shorts that I used to buy. The band and material are much thinner and clearly not high quality. The bands quickly stretch and fail after a few washings. The old bands were much thicker and supportive.

I've been wearing these full-cut boxers for over 15 years. The old style was and outstanding value - not cheap but a quality garment that I was glad to own.

I recently purchased several and the quality is so inferior to what they used to be they're almost useless. The fabric is MUCH thinner; the waistband is thinner and much less supportive; the cut is different making them more snug in the leg and in the seat. They skimped on everything.

In short, I think the manufacturer kept the price the same but drastically reduced the quality.

I won't be buying these anymore.

For us guys that appreciate the virtues of a good boxer short, this Rountree and York Full Cut Boxer is a great one. Great comfort, wears great under pleated work trousers, and the ladies like em on us too.
