These were purchased as an alternative to the very high dollar sports compression socks. I am a 65+, 200#, 15 mile weekly runner (oxymoron).I, know, most of todays runners would say it takes them 15 miles just to warm up, but I use older guy standards. And, considering that 75% of americans can't run a mile without dropping. I wear these socks inside my usual Experia coolmax running socks with Thorlo Pads. This combination improved my running energy and stamina as well as eliminated the leg pains runners feel from time to time. They need to make these in soccer red, safety orange/yellow and lime green so I can keep up with the running elites(if only from a fashion standpoint). I wear them all the time, business, sports, leisure. Great product!
