I've worn shoes by Sofft for years and have always loved them. As a professor, I am on my feet all day and walk a couple of miles crisscrossing campus. So I need shoes that are stylish *and* comfortable. Hence my love affair with the brand. Sadly, I am really unhappy with this pair. They felt fine when I tried them on in the store, but after walking just through an airport, my feet hurt. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but my feet sort of slide forward and wind up feeling cramped.
