I wear these anytime I wear a dress - I actually get a size smaller than they suggest (hey suggest a B and I get an A) and even tho I have to tug a little to get them over the hips they have great compression and slimming while I wear a dress - I look at least a size smaller.

I pull them all the way up to where they fit under my bra band and you'd never even know there was a line other than my bra!

I purchased these (size B) to control my lower-abdomen and stomach area, and they did not work. They compressed & pinched very tightly at the very top waist band (hurting my ribs and making it difficult to breath) and left the lower stomach area too loose (emphasizing the prutruding buldge there). They also compressed very tightly at the top and emphasized the back fat area - making that area buldge worse - like it had never before. I wore a loose top but would definitely not be able to wear anything remotely form fitting with these. They were almost impossible to get off & on when using the bathroom. The hose part were average - not too tight, not too loose - and I can't say I felt supported in the legs, and I have big thighs. I was not satisfied, and they did not compress the trouble spots. I am 5'3", 138 lbs with an hour-glass shape (38, 29, 39). If I needed them to create a waist area, they would probably have done that, but I didn't. I needed them to suck in the lower abdomen and they did not do that even a little bit. Maybe I am too short or not the right shape; maybe I needed to go down a size from the recommended size? - IDK. They just did not work; but I got an unexpected surprise from them that was really nice. They lifted my backside area making it perky, round and tight, really attractive - like I have never seen my backside look - ever! and these are not even targeted for that spot. But I still can't wear them because they pinch too tightly at the top creating increased back fat & difficulty breathing. I could never wear a form fitting top with them. Maybe the lower waisted version would work better? But still... I need some abdominal support for this price and reputation. Overall, I am disappoionted.

you definitely need to try these on before assuming the pkg is right on size, but i loved the bigger size and looked amazing and had zero cellulite showing in my bridesmaids dress!!! I've worn these and other brands for years, these rock and make you look toned in your outfit.
