I've worn Topsiders for over 30 years as my nearly exclusive three season footwear. They are better than barefoot. Although I usually have 3 or 4 pairs, they average close to 10 years wear for me. I'm about to replace a pair that I bought in 2003. I have never been able to wear through the soles.

Great shoe. Comfortable, moderately priced and lasts (almost) forever. I wear them almost every day, and I'm about to buy my second pair to replace the pair I bought at Dillard's about eight years ago.
